Miss Shirley's Cafe is excited to be participating in St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore's Empty Bowls event for the 5th year in a row!

This year, on March 28th, we will be donating 60 gallons of our Smoked Tomato Bisque, garnished with Shredded Cheddar Cheese, to be served at the event.

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore is a leading provider of community services to people suffering from the effects of hunger, homelessness and poverty in Baltimore, helping over 30,000 people each year. The annual event raises funds, friends and awareness of St. Vincent de Paul's mission to help those who are hungry and homeless in our community.

Empty Bowls offers fun for the whole family with children’s crafts and face painting. Guests also have the opportunity to taste a variety of soups from some of Baltimore’s top restaurants, select from hundreds of hand-crafted ceramic bowls for purchase and bid on an array of silent auction items, including jewelry, pottery, sports and theatre tickets, getaways and more!

Restaurants who provide soups are also entered into the annual Soup Competition, which named Miss Shirley’s Signature Sweet Potato Bisque the title of “Most Creative” last year.
