Just when we thought the weather anchor would be telling us to keep our shovels on standby until May, Spring sunshine has finally shed it’s light. And with warmer weather comes Miss Shirley’s NEW Spring Menu!
Coming April 13th, all Miss Shirley’s Cafe locations will be trading out our signature cold-weather dishes for all-new seasonal selections that are sure to get your mouth watering!
This Spring, we’ll kick it up a notch with a Savory Baja Skillet, featuring Tasso Ham, Hash Browns, Peppers, Green Onion & Cheddar, topped with a Sunny Side Up Egg, Fresh Pico de Gallo, Avocado Mash & Chipotle Sour Cream. And if you really want to spice things up, you’ll definitely want to pop a few Doppy Deviled Doppers in your mouth this season! This hot new starter will include 3 Roasted Jalapeños stuffed with Deviled Egg Mix, encrusted with seasoned panko breading & fried, garnished with Avocado Lime Cream & Cajun Spice.
Like to keep things a little milder? Our new Mac Crabby Bites will be just as flavorful! As a spin on Shirley’s Signature Mac Crabby Dish, we’re frying up Jumbo Lump Crab Meat, Cavatappi Pasta, Jalapeño-Smoked Bacon, Corn, Tomato & a Five-Cheese Blend in seasoned panko breading to create a gooey & delicious bite-size snack!
Everyone loves a savory starter, but Shirley’s Spring entrées will be equally as appetizing, such as the Soft Shell & Succotash Eggs Benedict with Cornmeal-Encrusted Seasonal Soft-Shell, Chesapeake Chicken Sausage, Black Eyed Pea Succotash & Poached Eggs on a Jumbo English Muffin with Old Bay Hollandaise Sauce & House-Made Tabasco Bacon Onion Jam, Chow Chow & Old Bay Remoulade!
You’ll also want to take a Big Fat Bite out of our Big Fat Greek Chicken Salad, mixed in Taziki, Red Onion with Sliced Cucumber, Bibb Lettuce, Red & Yellow Tomatoes & Toasted Challah Bread. However, if salads are more your style, you can surely Spring into Summer with the fresh new Spinach Salad, packed with Strawberries, Blueberries, Roasted Vidalia Onions, Golden Raisins, Farro, Pecans, Goat Cheese & a Trio of Croutons, tossed in a Blackberry Vinaigrette.
Then wash it all down with a Fresh House-Made Cocktail like a Blackberry Peach Tea Crush, Strawberry Lemonade Mojito or White Summer Sangria.
