Spring sunshine has finally shed it’s light, and with warmer weather comes Miss Shirley’s NEW Spring Menu, which debuted at all locations on April 13th!

This Spring, Corporate Executive Chef Brigitte Bledsoe and her culinary team have kicked it up a notch with some savory & sweet starters that are sure to Wake Up Your Taste Buds! Spice things up with a few of Doppy’s Deviled Doppers. This hot new starter consists of 3 Roasted Jalapeños stuffed with Deviled Egg Mix, encrusted with seasoned panko breading and fried, garnished with an Avocado Lime Cream.

Looking for something milder? As a spin on Shirley’s Signature Mac Crabby, the new Mac Crabby Bites feature Jumbo Lump Crab Meat, Jalapeño-Smoked Bacon, Corn, Tomato & a Five-Cheese Blend, all rolled in seasoned panko breading and fried, to create a gooey & delicious bite-size snack! Other additions include Benne Seed Peach & Goat Cheese Buttermilk Biscuits, BBQ Salmon Deviled Eggs, and Peach Peppadew Cobbler Skillet with a scoop of local Prigel Family Creamery’s Organic Cinnamon Ice Cream, which makes a perfect dessert!

Everyone loves a delicious starter, but the new Spring Entrées are equally as appetizing! If there is one thing that Shirley’s is known for, it’s a unique and delicious Benedict; and the new Cornmeal-Encrusted Soft Shell Crab & Succotash Eggs Benedict is sure to satisfy this season! Another new addition to Shirley’s House Favorites is the sizzling Baja Skillet, which incorporates Tasso Ham, Shredded Potato & Onion Hash Browns, Peppers, Green Onion & Cheddar, topped with a Sunny Side Up Egg, Pico de Gallo & Avocado Mash, served in a cast iron skillet and drizzled with fresh Chipotle Sour Cream.

Miss Shirley’s is also happy to feature a few local products on the Spring Lunch Menu, including Tessemae’s All-Natural Mild Buffalo Sauce & Baltimore Barbecue Company’s Chesapeake BBQ Sauce, which have been fused together in the B-More Local Club with Pulled BBQ Chicken & Buffalo Shrimp Salad.

You’ll also want to take a Big Fat Bite out of the new Big Fat Greek Chicken Salad, which is mixed in Tzatziki made from Prigel Family Creamery’s Organic Plain Yogurt; or Spring into Summer with the Spinach Salad, packed with fresh fruits, veggies, nuts and grains!

Then wash it all down with a House-Made Cocktail, like the new Blackberry Peach Tea Crush with Deep Eddy Peach Vodka, Unsweetened Iced Tea, Simple Syrup, Muddled Blackberries, Peaches & Mint! A delicious White Summer Sangria, infused with Cucumber, White Grapes, Honeydew, Pineapple & Peaches, has also been added to the menu; and the much-loved Strawberry Lemonade Mojito has returned for the season.
