Miss Shirley’s Cafe is thrilled to celebrate Two Decades of Delicious Daytime Dining and the inception of our Award Winning Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch restaurants, today, May 1st!
The 20th Anniversary of Miss Shirley’s Cafe, Roland Park presents itself as the opportune time for us to show our gratitude, and to thank the community that has supported our local family operated restaurants and helped us to become a Maryland Institution, since 2005.
To show our heartfelt appreciation to loyal guests, who have supported the cafe throughout the last two decades, we will offer special 20th Anniversary Giveaways & Rewards to our Brunch Club Loyalty Members throughout the year, as well as give local Goetze's Caramel Creams Candy as a sweet treat to end your meal when dining in the restaurant.

In continuing our partnership with Goetze's Candy Company, we are again offering local Goetze’s Caramel Creams Candy to end your meal when dining in the restaurant. This is another fun way to celebrate with all our guests throughout our entire anniversary year, as well as our longtime relationship with Goetze’s!
Since 2014, the Dopkin Family created the “Eddie Dopkin First Course Award, Honoring Entrepreneurship in Hospitality” scholarship, in honor of the late founder of Miss Shirley’s Cafe. Presented by the Restaurant Association of Maryland Education Foundation on behalf of Miss Shirley's Cafe, this scholarship annually awards $5,000 to one deserving student planning to attend a local university, who aspires to have a career in the Culinary or Hospitality Industry. This year’s recipient is a current Morgan State University student with a 3.8 studying Hospitality & Human Resources. Congratulations, Kameron!

Additionally, to support the education & ambitions of the restaurant’s own dedicated team members, Miss Shirley’s Cafe will be offering an internal scholarship this Spring. “The Michael Dopkin Second Course Award Honoring Dedication to Hard Work” will award $5,000 to one deserving and hard-working team member, who has been working with Miss Shirley’s Cafe for a minimum of 1 year and is enrolled to attend any full-time accredited two or four-year college of their choice in Fall 2025.
Miss Shirley’s is excited to have the opportunity to support and fuel the community’s active-lifestyle families! As the Official Breakfast & Brunch Partner for Coppermine Athletes in Baltimore & Annapolis, we are participating in on-site activations during key community events like Coppermine’s summer camp and Trunk or Treat festivities with local families this year.
Lastly, we’re proud to help keep our roadways & community clean year-round, Miss Shirley’s Cafe annually partners with the Adopt-A-Highway Program, to sponsor 20 signs throughout Baltimore & Annapolis.
